About HairVisit

HairVisit was established in August 2003 upon registration with the Chamber of Commerce. After completing a thorough three-year professional training programme at the Kappers Opleidings Instituut (KOI, in Heerlen) and working for various employers in the industry (and beyond), 2003 was the moment when I had sufficient experience to start my own business as a certified ladies' and gentlemen's hairdresser.

HairVisit has been a member of the General Dutch Hairdressers' Organisation (ANKO) since 2004.

Philosophy.

HairVisit strives to bring hair care closer to you and keep it that way. The best version of yourself, at your desired location. And in the most sustainable way possible. With products that respect your hair, your skin and the environment. The aim is to make hair and skin problems a thing of the past.
In recent years, HairVisit has increasingly replaced chemical treatments with alternatives. Treatments where this was not possible have been removed from the range (such as permanent treatments).

For colour treatments, I have chosen the Rodolphe & Co brand, offering you a choice of full plant-based colourants (with surprisingly good coverage and a surprisingly wide colour range). We also offer this brand's mineral colourants (with hybrid developer).

Highlights always require some degree of chemical treatment, but Rodolphe & Co's Mineral Whitener does this in the gentlest way possible.

All colour treatments deliver surprising results, leaving your hair healthy and shiny. And your skin feeling calm and relaxed.

The hairdresser: Noël Wilmes

I was born in Heer (when it was still its own municipality), but because my parents are from Maastricht, I feel just as much a part of Maastricht and am proud of my city.

I attach great importance to thorough professional training. At the time, I passed my professional diploma in Utrecht, nationally, as the best of that year! With a proud mother who served as one of my models.

In addition, in 2005 I was part of the technical club of hairdressers “Artist[e]” in Maastricht. This involved holding a workshop every quarter. In 2006, I attended various hairstyling workshops and courses on colouring techniques at Ad Peters Masterclass in Deventer. Furthermore, visiting various hairdressing fairs every two years is a must for me.  This allows me to stay up to date with all the latest news in the hairdressing world.

My current clients know me as a creative mind with a good sense of humour and a relaxed attitude to life.

That creative spirit also contributed to my decision to equip my cargo bike (which I use to visit most of my customers) with a cover with solar panels that I conceived, designed and built myself in 2017. This allows me to charge the power I need during the day to power my cargo bike and charge my phone and hair clippers. On the home page You may have seen a drone video of me riding my cargo bike with solar panels on my way to a customer.

Since 2020, I have developed an improved version of this lid, called ‘SOLFIE’, which even has two pull-out drawers with solar panels. You can follow the developments via Instagram solar cargo bike

Area of operation

My working area is ‘Maastricht and surroundings’. That is a broad concept, but more specifically it means that my daily working area stretches from Eijsden to Ulestraten and from Cadier en Keer to Lanaken.

For bridal and gala hairstyles, which are a great passion of mine, that limit can be extended somewhat by means of clear agreements regarding travel time and travel expenses. As a result, over the past three years, an average of 45 bridal hairstyles per year have been created, in addition to a multitude of party hairstyles for guests.

I am happy to visit you at home. Generally speaking, people find it easier to be themselves in their own home, which helps them to clearly articulate their wishes. I like to take the time to get to know people well, which enables me to meet your hair wishes with great precision.

However, I also frequently visit special locations (e.g. Chateau St. Gerlach, Winselerhof, Vaashartelt Castle, Hoogenweerth Castle, Limbricht Castle, Altembrouck Castle) and attend special events (such as TEFAF, André Rieu concerts, Theater aan het Vrijthof, etc.).

We can provide a complete package of services, including make-up. To this end, we work together with various professionals in this field who have proven themselves and distinguished themselves in our collaboration. They are happy to work on behalf of HairVisit to make your wishes come true.
