I was born in Heer (when it was still its own municipality), but because my parents are from Maastricht, I feel just as much a part of Maastricht and am proud of my city.
I attach great importance to thorough professional training. At the time, I passed my professional diploma in Utrecht, nationally, as the best of that year! With a proud mother who served as one of my models.
In addition, in 2005 I was part of the technical club of hairdressers “Artist[e]” in Maastricht. This involved holding a workshop every quarter. In 2006, I attended various hairstyling workshops and courses on colouring techniques at Ad Peters Masterclass in Deventer. Furthermore, visiting various hairdressing fairs every two years is a must for me. This allows me to stay up to date with all the latest news in the hairdressing world.
My current clients know me as a creative mind with a good sense of humour and a relaxed attitude to life.
That creative spirit also contributed to my decision to equip my cargo bike (which I use to visit most of my customers) with a cover with solar panels that I conceived, designed and built myself in 2017. This allows me to charge the power I need during the day to power my cargo bike and charge my phone and hair clippers. On the home page You may have seen a drone video of me riding my cargo bike with solar panels on my way to a customer.
Since 2020, I have developed an improved version of this lid, called ‘SOLFIE’, which even has two pull-out drawers with solar panels. You can follow the developments via Instagram solar cargo bike
